About us
loveyourlarder.com is an online food market where you can discover and buy food from independent producers. We are helping small businesses to expand and spread the word about the brilliant produce they make.
We love good food and set up loveyourlarder.com in 2010 with the aim of creating a community of small producers who were passionate about the products that they made. Britain has a thriving culinary culture and we want to share it with everyone.
Over the last two years we have been building and expanding the site and you can now find a gloriously eclectic range of food and drink on the site, perfect for any special occasion or gift for a food-loving friend. Our producers are based all over the country (and occasionally further afield) and make everything from boutique teas to craft ale, smoked meats and infused vinegars.
Some of our producers are already well established as makers of fine food, but many of the people selling on our site are small, family run businesses perhaps without the resources or time to run their own e-commerce website. That’s where we step in, managing the complicated technical side of selling online but still allowing producers to tailor their online sales, curate their product range and keep their own voice when communicating with their customers.
